Welcome to the Hughson Unified School District website. Our site is designed for quick user-friendly access to district and school information, and to keep open channels of communication with our parents and community. As superintendent it is my hope that each Hughson student, family, and community member will be actively involved in our schools. Hughson Unified is very proud of our outstanding staff & students and our caring community. By working together we will prepare our students to be successful, responsible leaders of the future.

The Hughson Unified School District serves approximately 2,200 students in grades K-12, and our commitment to serving students and parents is focused on providing a wide range of educational services and options. Our traditional sites include Hughson Elementary School (K-3), Fox Road Elementary (4-5), Ross Middle School (6-8), and Hughson High School (9-12). We also provide alternative education options, including Billy Joe Dickens High School, Independent Study, and Community Day School. All sites provide rigorous, standards-based curriculum and instruction delivered by highly qualified staff.

We trust that you will stay involved in your student’s education by attending parent conferences, participating in school activities, and keeping in contact with teachers. Please keep in mind that your student’s attendance is one of the most critical components of success.

For more information about our schools and district please navigate around our website. Always feel free to contact our schools or district office if we can assist you in any way.
