Welcome to Hughson Unified School District’s State Preschool Program

Hughson State Preschool Program, funded by the State Department of Education, is designed to help your children develop skills which will assist them in gaining the most from later schooling.

The preschool’s philosophy is to recognize the importance of play in the learning process for our young children. Our teachers will work to empower children, promote individuality, and develop strong partnerships with families while creating an environment that helps young children attain physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and language achievements. We recognize that parents are the primary caregivers and educators of their children. Each family brings a history of life experience and cultural heritage that is respected and valued within our preschool. Partnerships between families and the preschool are essential to the growth and development of each individual child.

Our mission is to provide children with an environment that allows them to feel safe, loved, and to offer endless opportunities to explore and learn. We create a love for learning!

AM Class 8:00-11:00
PM Class 11:30-2:30
